PSYCHOTHERAPY
Psychotherapy is a talking therapy similar to Counselling but tends to focus more on the root causes of how we live our lives and the problems we face. Fundamentally it is about understanding who we are and why we live the way we do. To do this it's helps to be understood and appreciated for who we are, by someone we trust. If we can listen to ourselves in an honest and embodied way, and have that process witnessed by someone who won't judge us, we can learn to accept ourselves with compassion. Through knowing and warmly accepting ourselves and the histories that drive our patterns, other ways of being become possible.
Because psychotherapy is a process of understanding what drives our behaviour it can help with a wide range of psychological and relationship difficulties including depression and anxiety.
